• AZ150001 - Old Atlanta Rd near St. Marlo. Developer now wants to remove all conditions relative to Senior living to turn this into "active adult living" @150 units "age restricted" 1 person 55 and over... Original application was ZA3636 - Applicant requested to rezone from Agricultural District (A1) to Single Family Residential District (RES4) with a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for Senior Housing - Independent Living / Assisted Living on 87.45 acres for 104 units of quadriplexes and 150 assisted living units with a density of 2.9 units per acre.
• AZ150002 / Reference ZA3686 is a small property 2.83 acres/16 units/5.65 density. Requesting Senior Housing Condition removal which was 2014 recommendation of PC.

2012 Candidates’ time – open floor for those candidates for office present this evening.

Updates:

  • ZA3588 – Eastgate Church Rezoning Application from A1 to CBD – on Planning Commission recommended denial. Now comes before BOC on 7/19/2012

 Request to rezone 3.47 acres from Agricultural (A1) to Commercial Business District (CBD) with a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for a 29,000 square foot worship facility with 197 parking spaces with variances.

(1) A variance is requested to eliminate the required 50 foot side yard buffer (UDC Chapter 12, Table 12.1, note #1).

(2) A variance is requested to reduce the required 50 foot side yard setback 40 feet to allow a side yard setback of 10 feet. (UDC Chapter 12,Table12.2)

(3) A variance is requested to eliminate the required 50 foot rear yard buffer (UDC Chapter 12, Table 12.1, note #1).

(4) A variance is requested to reduce the required 50 foot rear yard setback 25 feet to allow a side yard setback of 25 feet. (UDC Chapter 12, Table 12.2).
