To the Forsyth County Planning Commission:

Smart Growth Forsyth County is writing to you tonight to ask that you support a less intensive development than the Res6 plan before you in ZA3623.

The citizens you were appointed to serve have spoken. They acknowledge that the property owner has the right to sell/develop his land. However, the surrounding affected community is seeking a fair and balanced solution, not a one-sided approval. In an effort to balance the needs of the community, the developer and the natural environment, we would remind you that you, the Planning Commission, have the ability to recommend a change in the proposed zoning district to a less intense district than the one requested by the applicant. We trust that tomorrow evening, you will recommend to the Board of Commissioners a development plan for this district embraceable by all.

Once again, we thank you for your willingness to serve our great County and its citizens, and we know that togetherwe can help keep Forsyth County the best place to live, work and play in the Atlanta Metro area.

Sincerely,

Claudia Castro, Managing Director
