How much is it worth to you to have eyes and ears in the community keeping track of developers and our county government; to have an organization willing to fight for well-planned growth; to have an organization willing to ask the tough questions and hold our elected officials accountable? Some of the issues Smart Growth tackles involve limited manpower - attending meetings, being the liaison that brings neighborhoods and county officials together to offer up solutions. Other issues, such as the 41/2 year WalMart fight, involve legal representation and expert advice. As a group of volunteers, we need your help - physically and financially.
